The Parish Council has no decision-making role in planning matters, but is consulted on all planning matters within or affecting the Parish. These are normally discussed at the regularĀ Parish Council meetings, and anyone with a particular interest is welcome to attend. Anyone who wishes to make representations on a planning matter should contact the Clerk in advance.
Cherwell District Council is usually the decision-making authority, and their website allows planning applications to be viewed and commented on. Any comments submitted by the Parish Council will be shown as a Consultee Comment.
The Parish Council is very aware that there are a number of large-scale planning applications in the area which will have a significant impact on the character of the area, and in particular the road traffic situation around Junction 10 of the M40. The Planning section of this website provides links to these major development proposals.
